Sound familiar? It should if you watched the trailer for the new 2012 movie. The IHC, or the Institute for Human Continuity, is a site that is supposedly going to prepare the world for its end. As realistic as it may seem (the site is really complicated), its really just a touting for Roland Emmerich’s upcoming 2012.
It’s December 21st, 2008. Christmas is around the bend, so is Hanukkah. New Year’s Eve is coming soon, followed by a ton of other holidays. Let’s not forget the U.S. presidential inauguration, which might be the last; because, four years from today, the Mayan Calender reaches an end. Then, all hell breaks loose or we all laugh off how stupid we were to actually have any faith in a calender over 1500 years old (Y2K Virus repeat?). The countdown starts NOW.
I promised this post a few days ago. Why would the Mayan calendar, if really a calendar, make more sense if it were brought in from another civilization originating in another solar system? Simply put, the answer lies in our own calendar. Click read more if you wish to find out.
Most of my posts so far have been copied and pasted from other websites and other more professional opinions than mine. That’s mostly because most people don’t really care about the opinions of an amateur blogger. But with other things eating up the news like politics and sports, there is really nothing much to blog about, other than my own original word that is. A new trailer for the movie version of the year 2012 is out. It looks good, but this is only the teaser trailer. There is supposed to be story lines of different people’s lives.
2012 is set to be released on July 10, 2009.

The year is 2008, and we are five minutes from midnight. Huh? On the Doomsday clock we are five minutes away from, well, Doomsday. Not literally five minutes on a normal clock, but five minutes compared to the all-of-time. What is the Doomsday clock? TheBulletin.org explains it very simply as:
The Doomsday Clock conveys how close humanity is to catastrophic destruction–the figurative midnight–and monitors the means humankind could use to obliterate itself. First and foremost, these include nuclear weapons, but they also encompass climate-changing technologies and new developments in the life sciences that could inflict irrevocable harm.
Simply put, the more we screw-up, like voting for Bush for a second time, the closer we get to the end of the world. Will December 21st, 2012 be the last ticking second on that clock? Maybe. Maybe not. After all there are ways to wind the clock back. To read more, click on Read more…
I just saw a website that lists over 200 “ends of the world.” The dates range from 44 A.D. to 2047! Is 2012 another false alarm? After all, 2008 is on the list, and we’re still around. The year 2007 was also on the list! For the full list you can find the link here.
I just saw this picture at Icanhascheezburger.com and I now completely believe that 2012 is the end of the world. It’s all in the hands of Obama from here. Like I said before, we can trust him.
